Mallorca se llena de ciclismo durante Febrero

Mañana, miércoles 3 de febrero, se presentará a los medios de comunicación la XIX Challenge Ciclista a Mallorca, que se disputa durante los próximos días 7 y 11 de febrero. El acto, que se celebrará a las 11.30 horas en el Palma Arena, contará con la asistencia de Miquel Ferrer, conseller de Turisme, y Mateu Cañelles, conseller d'Esports i Joventut, además de representantes del Consell y de los ayuntamientos patrocinadores de etapa, entre otras personalidades.

En la presente edición, la Challenge contará con la participación de 20 equipos, diez de ellos de categoría UCI Protour, y la presencia de algunas de las principales figuras del pelotón, como Alejandro Valverde, número uno del mundo en 2009 y ganador de la Vuelta 2009, los hermanos Schleck, Andy y Frank, segundo y quinto clasificados respectivamente en el Tour 2009, André Greipel, el sprinter de moda del pelotón internacional, Óscar Freire o Robbie McEwen, entre otros.

Trofeos Challenge 2010:

* Domingo 7 de febrero: TROFEO PALMA (116 km.).
* Lunes 8 de febrero: TROFEO CALA MILLOR-SON SERVERA (173,5 km.).
* Martes 9 de febrero: TROFEO INCA (157,2 km.).
* Miércoles 10 de febrero: TROFEO DEIÀ (143 km.).
* Jueves 11 de febrero: TROFEO MAGALUF-PALMANOVA (158,5 km.).
